‘Pupils say that they enjoy coming to school, that they are taught well and that they make good progress. They are articulate, interested, enthusiastic and very well behaved.’ Mr Aelwyn Pugh HMI May 2018

Due to the retirement of our current headteacher, the Governing Body is seeking to appoint a truly outstanding leader to further develop the school and to maintain the focus on achieving great outcomes in an environment filled with the Gospel values of love, peace, justice and truth. We welcome applications from practising Catholics who are either a current Headteacher looking for a change of school or an experienced Senior Leader ready to take the next step into Headship.

  • Have the vision, ambition and motivation to lead our highly successful school into the next stage of its development
  • Have high expectations of themselves, pupils and staff
  • Be passionate in their belief that every child can enjoy success
  • Be a leader with enthusiasm to inspire all our staff and children
  • Be a headteacher who will maintain the strong links between our parish, school, Diocese and Local Authority

We are able to offer:

  • A friendly, welcoming community, underpinned by our strong Catholic ethos where all are truly valued
  • The opportunity to lead and manage a highly successful school
  • Happy, confident, enthusiastic children who enjoy learning
  • A caring, talented and committed staff
  • Supportive parents and governors
  • Good opportunities for professional development
