RELIEF WASTE MANAGEMENT OPERATIVES

 

Do you have spare time in the week and are looking for flexible work?

Relief vacancies have arisen within our Waste Management Team for those wanting to work in their free time on a relief basis. This is to cover for busy periods, holidays and employee absence.

This role includes the loading of domestic refuse collection vehicles, litter picking, fly tip collection and litterbin emptying throughout the district. The position will entail working some unsociable hours in all weathers. You should be physically fit, with the ability to work alone and unsupervised. Full training, uniform and PPE will be provided. Those with experience in working in a similar environment will be beneficial. The position requires a full driving licence. The post is based at the councils’ Brunel Drive Depot in Newark.
