Hightown currently manages over 6,800 homes and employs over 900 staff. The housing association has an annual turnover of £85 million and a development programme that will deliver around 1,000 new affordable homes over the next two years.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Health and Safety Resource Officer to take responsibility for the management of Hightown`s insurance portfolio and the monitoring of Hightown`s health and safety key performance indicators including asbestos and fire risk.

The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of insurance principles and practice and previous experience of managing an organisation would be beneficial.

You will be responsible for updating the asset and housing management systems across a wide range of areas for Hightown`s new developments.

About You

We are therefore looking for an individual who demonstrates a compassionate, enthusiastic, respective and `can-do` approach.

The successful candidate should have a good knowledge of insurance principles and practice and previous experience of managing an organisation`s insurance portfolio would be beneficial.

You must have excellent organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to confidently use spreadsheets.

You must be able to work as part of a team to deliver an excellent service to the people we support and be flexible in your approach to work. You will have a commitment to equality and diversity and take a positive approach to supporting others.
