This is your chance to find your own personal greatness in a role where you will be responsible for the commissioning and operational mobilisation of large-scale projects on behalf of Central Bedfordshire Council’s Housing Service. The Housing Property Team provides a wide range of services to our residents - including the delivery new homes in order to meet housing demand
We are looking for a highly motivated and energetic individual who can take the lead on exciting projects relating to the delivery of new homes. You must be comfortable working at pace, with strict deadlines - both independently and as part of an extended team - to drive forward the change required.
You will be HND or degree qualified with a relevant project management qualification along with an understanding of working in an environment that relates to the mobilisation of accommodation and the associated operational aspects. You will have knowledge or experience of working in construction, ideally within a social housing environment.
You will be a highly organised and solution-focused individual with excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to influence and negotiate. You will be experienced in relation to the creation of technical, contractual and specialist documentation that supports the delivery and operational mobilisation of projects of varying size. You will also demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with teams across the council and with external partners, with a passion for improving outcomes for the residents of Central Bedfordshire by providing new homes.
