40 hours per week (job share may be considered). Salary up to £18,137.60 pa (depending on age). 

We welcome unqualified lifeguards. If you are a good swimmer and willing to undertake our lifeguard training course, we will train you

As a Lifeguard, your duties will include setting up and breaking down sports equipment and providing assistance and help to members of the public who visit the centres. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the centres are kept immaculately clean and tidy at all times.

You will have:

  • A total commitment to customer service
  • High standards for cleaning
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • A willingness to be flexible and embrace change.

Successful candidates will work on a shift pattern which includes evenings and weekends and will have the opportunity to work at both leisure centres. This role requires an enhanced disclosure check that the Council will pay for.
