Software Tester

We are currently recruiting for a Software Tester to provide a professional software testing service to Medway Council and Partners in order to ensure that new and amended applications, configurations, packages, or services, together with any interfaces, perform as specified, conform to agreed standards and industry specific regulations and that the risks associated with deployment are adequately communicated, understood and documented. 

The testing outputs will support / offer ways to improve business operations, thus affecting business decisions as well as supporting business continuity through change and will strive towards automated testing where possible. 

The post will work closely with Application Support and System Administrators ensuring test/dev/train environments are current and suitable to run all required tests against. 

There will also be a requirement to work alongside Software Developers and the Network and Security Manager to ensure standards are met/maintained to meet legislation where appropriate and engage with suppliers to resolve identified failures. 

You should be able to demonstrate previous working experience comprising:

Cut-over Testing

A/B Testing
