The Surrey County Council, IT & Digital Enterprise Application & Portfolio Team, are looking for a Fixed Term or secondment opportunity for an Application Assurance Senior Specialist who will be responsible for implementing and maintaining in-house quality procedures, standards and process for the Enterprise Application and Portfolio team working with all the Orbis application teams. The team enables the continuous improvement of applications across the IT & Digital Service including an ERP, Adults, Children and Highways systems.
This role will be specifically responsible for implementing and maintaining the in-house quality procedures, standards and processes for the Enterprise Application and Portfolio team, and ensuring the continuous improvement of applications across the IT & Digital service. You should have excellent verbal and accurate written skills and must be able to plan and organise your work to deliver agreed outcomes within allocated time frames. Knowledge of best practice activities for the Application Lifecycle Management, including experience of software testing, would be an advantage.
