Notting Hill Genesis is one of London’s leading housing associations and residential developers. We have an ambitious programme to build 1400 homes a year. We currently have 3000 homes in construction and a strong pipeline with a range of exciting projects that will deliver high quality new homes and create new communities.
We’re looking for a tenacious and motivated Procurement and Commercial Manager, to drive value for money and regulatory compliance in our procurement processes and supply chain management strategies.
You’ll support the delivery of our new developments by providing technical and commercial leadership and support to the development department on procurement, framework, supply chain, contracts and cost planning. You’ll be our trusted advisor, so you’ll need excellent knowledge of tendering and contracts, as well as a good understanding of property development and/or construction.
We have our own frameworks of consultants and contractors who we work with to deliver our development projects. Our main framework of over 170 suppliers will run until 2022, and we additionally have various secondary frameworks and approved supplier lists. You’ll be responsible for managing these existing frameworks, as well as leading on the high-profile procurement of new and replacement frameworks with the help of our corporate Procurement Team.
Our development project managers are responsible for running their own tenders and contracting with consultants and contractors for their projects. You’ll support them in doing so, guiding and challenging your colleagues to achieve compliance and best practice in all tendering and contracts. You’ll develop our suite of procedures and template documents, monitor and oversee all tendering and contract activities across the department, collect analyse and present information about suppliers to inform tendering and selection decisions, deliver training, provide advice, and help colleagues with day-to-day problem solving.

The salary band for this role is £45,000 to £60,000 per annum. The starting salary we offer you will depend on your capability and level of applicable experience.
