We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, calm, patient and caring individual with determination to ensure our pupils get the best possible experience at our school. The candidate will support all areas of an Education Health and Care Plan, including pastoral and wellbeing needs. The successful candidate will demonstrate the skills needed to develop children’s thinking, be adaptable, have some knowledge and experience in overcoming barriers to learning and be able to work using their own initiative.
Also essential is the ability to work in a team, be flexible, have a solid understanding of how children learn and possess excellent communication skills. Most importantly we want someone who enjoys being with children and helping them to learn.
This role involves providing 19.5 hours of support and a likely working pattern is 5 mornings and 2 afternoons. However, we will consider applications for a job share of this role.
