The Digital Content Producer will work with the Digital Content Manager to produce and curate digital content across all the charity’s digital platforms. This role will work closely with the rest of the Digital team and wider stakeholders to deliver a user-centered, content design driven experience for everyone who needs support or information on breast cancer, or who is motivated to support the charity, online.
The Digital Content Producer will support digital content strategy workflows and processes set out by the Content team. They will understand emerging trends in digital content and see how these innovations can be applied to Breast Cancer Now’s content for us to deliver the best user experience for our audience.
In order to work effectively in a changing environment, flexibility is required from this role. The Digital Content Producer must be prepared to travel throughout the UK and to work varying hours.
You have experience producing website content in a dynamic, fast paced environment. You know how to edit and publish content using a CMS and understand how to optimise content through SEO to ensure the best experience for a user. You are a confident communicator with strong copywriting and proofreading skills who can apply tact and discretion to sensitive and confidential subjects.
You are comfortable working as part of a team, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise work amidst conflicting demands and tight deadlines. Your knowledge of digital trends and social media will help create new, exciting content for our supporters and stakeholders. You can work independently to get the job done and are confident in your abilities to deliver on pro-active and re-active work for a cause and mission that means so much to people affected by breast cancer.
