Teaching Assistant

Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover) until 31st July 2021

Working Pattern: Part Time/Term Time

Hours:   15 hours. 9.15 am to 12.15 pm each day.

The school is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, hardworking and experience Teaching Assistant to join our school and work alongside our Year 3 teacher in early November 2020 (or earlier, if possible)

This will be a highly rewarding role and the successful candidate will for part of an exceptional team of highly committed and dedicated staff.  We pride ourselves on our collaborative and supportive approach to achieve the best outcomes for the young people we work with.

The successful candidate will be required to work with children both on a one to one or group basis both in and out of the classroom supporting them to access the curriculum and make progress.

Previous experience of working with SEN students in a primary (particularly KS1) or specialist setting would be an advantage.

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly are essential criteria for the post. A willingness to contribute positively to our happy team and to become involved in the wider aspects of school life is also imperative. We are looking for candidates with good Maths and English skills with at least a Grade C or above at GCSE level. Please state your qualifications in the application form.
