We are looking for hard working and motivated lunchtime staff to join our friendly school. Our pupils are delightful, fun and courteous and need the right people to help them develop their social skills and to enjoy a healthy happy lunchtime. This is a busy school and we would like people who can use their own initiative and integrate well with the children and staff alike.
Under the direction of the supervisor/line manager a Midday Supervisor will effectively supervise all pupils during the lunch period, providing a continuous presence. Ensure the safety, welfare and conduct of pupils in accordance with school policy. This will involve supervising pupils in the lunch hall and on the playground.
Midday Assistants have a shared role within the school in helping to raise the social achievements of pupils. They are responsible for ensuring that lunchtimes are an enjoyable and safe experience for all the pupils, so that they are physically and mentally prepared to learn during the afternoon.
We have a resource provision unit as part of our school so an awareness of SEN and autism would be beneficial.
We are committed to the safety of our pupils through our recruitment and school practices; all jobs are subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. The Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) helps employers make safer recruitment decisions and prevent unsuitable people from working with vulnerable groups including children.
