About the Role
This is an excellent career opportunity within our Crawley Homes division to assist with all aspects of housing management issues and adding value to the customer experience.
The role of Housing Assistant supports the division with the control of the Council’s rent debit, therefore previous administrative and financial experience or strong mathematical aptitude is essential.
Day to day you will be dealing with queries from members of the public in sometimes difficult circumstances therefore you should have a common sense approach and a strong commitment to customer care.
It is essential that you possess good communication skills and can demonstrate self-motivation, initiative and team work. A good working knowledge of ICT systems is essential, including proven experience of Word and Excel. You will have the ability and confidence to communicate effectively with customers both on the phone and face to face.
