(Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm and 9.30 am – 6pm shift patterns with some call out required including weekends (attracting additional payment)

We’re currently recruiting for 3 full time permanent Gas Engineers to join our Housing Management – Responsive Repairs team. You will undertake skilled maintenance operations and support other trade staff in the effective completion of repairs, maintenance and other building operations to properties and other buildings managed by Newark and Sherwood District Council.

Successful candidates will have 3 years’ experience of installation and maintenance in domestic and commercial property. ACS qualified (including CCN1, CEN1, CKR1, HTR1, CENWAT and CPA1), you should also ideally hold NVQ 3 or equivalent in plumbing and have experience of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of boilers and central heating systems. Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence is essential.
