Up to 12 month temporary contract to cover maternity leave
We require an Anti-social behaviour (ASB) officer to provide a frontline customer focussed service working within the ASB and Tenancy Management team.
The successful candidate will work in a team and will be responsible for dealing with a variety of anti-social behaviour issues across the borough. The candidate will work closely with internal and external teams/agencies in order to successfully resolve issues.
The successful candidate will use a variety of tools, both informal and formal, to attempt to resolve complaints of anti-social behaviour. This can include but is not limited to; mediation, the tiered approach and court sanctions.
Candidates must have excellent organisational skills, the ability to communicate well at all levels; have initiative, work well in a team and have experience of working with vulnerable people and dealing with sensitive issues both on the phone, in person and by interviewing members of the public. Candidates will also be required to work both from the office and within resident’s homes on a regular basis.
You should also have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs which includes Word, Excel and Outlook and have the flexibility needed to conduct some out of hours working.
