Adult Safeguarding Hub Manager

Are you a passionate and innovative health or social care professional who is committed to achieving effective outcomes in Adult Safeguarding and being part of a forward-thinking culture?

If so, the council is going through an exciting phase of changing the way it works with this complex and challenging area of practice. We have an exciting opportunity for you to be part of building that service and way of working.

We are looking for a Registered Social Worker, Nurse or Occupational Therapist with a proven track record of direct work in an Adult Safeguarding context and demonstrable experience of managing staff. You will have a sound knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks and an ability to demonstrate a commitment to the principles of Making Safeguarding Personal whilst discharging your statutory Duties. You will be confident and assertive, have excellent communication skills and be able to work collaboratively with partners, with an ability to think flexibly and creatively in a solution focused way. You will be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment and able to balance competing priorities for yourself and your team.
