37 HOURS PER WEEK, 2 YEAR FIXED TERM CONTRACT INITIALLY
We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced individual to join the Council’s Development Management team.
The District is the largest geographically in Nottinghamshire and offers a diverse range of opportunities and challenges in planning terms, including issues around green belt, flood risk, gypsy and traveller provision, and heritage.
You’ll be able to deal with all types of heritage or related applications and should have experience of successful working within the Heritage sector. Familiarity with all types of heritage asset, vernacular architecture, conservation best practice and legislation, combined with a keen appreciation of the techniques and traditions of historic building construction would be advantageous, as would previous experience in a local authority Planning context (including working with elected members and external partners such as Historic England).
