Social Worker - Adoption Partnership South East Regional Adoption Agency

This is an exciting time for three local authorities who have come together to form Adoption Partnership South East. This service will provide the adoption services on behalf of LB Bexley, Kent County Council and Medway Council and will ‘go live’ on 1st November 2020.

An opportunity has arisen to recruit a social worker to the post adoption part of the service. The post will be subject to Medway Council terms and conditions, but the post holder will work within Adoption Partnership and provide direct support to adopted children and their families.

The Service aims to ensure families in Bexley, Kent and Medway have access to excellent adoption support and to ensure that the support offered to families at every stage of the family life is informed and tailored to their needs. Threaded throughout the work is a developing therapeutic network which supports the family to thrive. The team values a service delivery that can provide layers of support to families both pre and post order.

Applicants must be registered with Social Work England.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
