Programme Manager

Fixed term role for 12 months - Time Limited Project

West Berkshire Council is embarking on a dynamic new programme to transform the relationship between residents and public services in West Berkshire, to support independence, tackle inequality and enable better outcomes for people living in our communities.

This fixed term appointment will oversee this programme of work seeking to achieve objectives within the Engaging and Enabling our Communities initiative.

This programme of work will be a key to delivering the Council’s Communication and Engagement Strategy.

The programme of work that this post will be responsible for will be overseen by a Programme Board Chaired by a Head of Service and a new Strategic Partnership (to be formed from current shadow arrangements).

The main project work streams for the post will be

  • Commission a Local Infrastructure Organisation
  • Commission a BAME advocacy Group
  • Development of an Engagement Framework
