Care and Repair Elmbridge (CARE) Caseworker

2-year fixed term, part-time

£25,611 - £27,567 per annum pro rata

Our Care and Repair team is a lifeline for many older and vulnerable residents of Elmbridge and we need a case worker to support the team.


Our Care and Repair team provides a home improvement service to our residents including home assessments and support with grant applications.  As a caseworker, you will work with our customers from initial enquiry through to completion of the work, creating a positive experience for our customers as we strive to support them in their own homes. You will be responsible for providing advice and support to our elderly, disabled and vulnerable residents who want the appropriate improvements and adaptions to their homes to allow them to live independently.


About you

You will be an organised, practical person with the ability to manage competing workloads. Your customer service and empathy will shine through as you take our customers through the process from start to finish. You will have the ability to communicate, manage expectations, remove any blockers, work with partner agencies and access available funding, all to ensure our customers receive the best service.
