We have completely re-designed and re-focused our HR&OD function, with a strong focus on modernising our organisation, culture and workforce – where individuals thrive and are able to perform at their very best. We encourage our colleagues to think differently, share experience and create solutions that truly deliver change.

If the idea of being part of a team which is committed to making a real impact to public service, and to the lives of the residents of Surrey, then this opportunity is for you!

Improving employee experience and wellbeing has never been as important as it is now, and our ongoing transformation gives us an opportunity to be bold and innovative in our approach. Based within a small and passionate team, this role will lead on evidence-based projects and initiatives which will have a significant impact on employee experience and wellbeing across the Council.

We are looking for individuals who can develop effective relationships with HR&OD colleagues, operational managers and teams across the organisation and collaboratively identify innovative and sustainable solutions to improve employee experience and wellbeing in an agile and changing work environment. Our Pulse Surveys and data underpin our work, and you will be required to manage staff experience surveys and to analyse and present complex information.

You will be able to demonstrate examples of successful and quantifiable improvements in employee experience and wellbeing and an understanding of cultural and organisational change processes.

This opportunity is offered on a 0.6 WTE, one year fixed-term basis.
