This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Housing Finance Team, within the Corporate Finance Team, playing a key role in supporting the Housing Service by delivering accurate and timely financial advice where applicable.
Reporting to the Housing Accountant – to provide a finance business partnering service, covering financial advice and support on all financial aspects for services associated with the directorates including financial planning, budget monitoring and financial analysis.
This post is currently available to join on a 9-month fixed-term secondment, ideally AAT qualified or finalist of CCAB recognised body. Knowledge of local government environment would be advantageous with good communication skills and a proven ability to work with complex data and spreadsheets essential. You need to be able to work on your own initiative, and under pressure to achieve tight deadlines.
