Signs of Safety Project Officer - Fixed Term for 1 year

Medway is implementing Signs of Safety as our practice model.  This is a whole system change that requires an ambitious strategy and implementation plan.  Working with the Signs of Safety Practice Development Lead and the Implementation Board, you will help develop this plan and keep it on track to a successful implementation and further on into embedding and sustaining the practice and ethos.

This is a great opportunity for someone with sound project management skills and a passion for helping organisations provide the best they can for the children and families we serve.  This role allows for a high level of autonomy and the opportunity to support real change across a large system in a small and supportive team.

It’s a great time to join Medway!

In return we offer you:

  • Generous annual leave entitlement
  • Generous local government pension scheme package
  • Access to wider training and development qualifications
  • Flexible working scheme
  • Travel plan discounts
  • Access to CAREFIRST advice & counselling service
  • Employee discount scheme for national and local retailers
  • Assisted car purchase scheme

For an informal discussion please contact Lori Goossen, Principal Social Worker on 01634 332114 or email
