Hawkswood Primary / SEMH provision is looking for a Learning Support Coach

Hawkswood Primary is an Outstanding Primary Pupil Referral Unit and specialist provision for children Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Our children are awesome and require calm, encouraging and enabling adult support. They are keen to learn, but come to us with specific gaps in learning due to poor attendance, low levels of resilience or addition needs linked to behaviour or social, emotional and mental health needs. Some of our children have an EHCP for additional needs such as ADHD and or ASD.

As a team we work hard to close these gaps to enable children to develop academically, socially and emotionally, so that they can return to mainstream school. We are seeking committed and highly motivated staff to work as part of our team. The role will involve the delivery of:
• 1:1 and small group interventions
• Play and social skills activities
• Interacting with children and supporting teaching, learning and feedback in class
• Safeguarding

Level 2 + NVQ for Learning Assistant is desirable.
