Holistic Therapist

The Headteacher and Governors are looking for a Holistic Therapist who is enthusiastic, forward thinking, effective, a strong character, with excellent interpersonal skills to be able to communicate and work with the pupils in the school. 

The person appointed will have experience of working with children with special educational needs – Behavioural, Emotional, Social Difficulties and Autism, a person who is highly motivated and works well as part of a team.  

We are seeking someone who is caring, flexible and well organised, to encourage and to strive to develop independent thinking in our pupils.

The working week for this position is 2 days a week, 39 weeks per year (term time).

We would expect the successful person to:-

  • Deliver high-quality holistic therapy (Indian head massage), Reflexology, Aromatherapy Head Massages to individuals.
  • Assess children for their suitability for therapy and provide it when appropriate.
  • Undertaking therapy assessment, planning and treatment appropriate to the child/young person’s needs, holding his/her therapeutic interests to be paramount while adhering to the highest ethical standards of professional registration – this will be 1:1 

 As a statement of commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, the successful applicant will be expected to undertake an DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check.
