We are looking to appoint a Reintegration worker to join the Education Inclusion Service. We are looking for someone who has a lot of initiative, is problem solving, and has a lot of resilience.


The role will support children who have been out of education to re-engage with education. This will involve close liaison with schools as well as other agencies. The postholder will provide 1:1 practical support to children both in their education provision and outside of this. The postholder will work with families as well by helping and supporting them to overcome barriers to accessing education.


The ideal candidate will have significant experience of providing in class support to children as well as a strong background in education. The postholder will be working with children and schools across North Somerset. The post will focus primarily on children of secondary school age.


We are looking for someone who is really committed to improving outcomes for children and young people.


This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
