Burnley Together Community Link Officer
36.25 hours per week.
Grade 6 - £22,183
Temporary post until 31st December 2021
Burnley Together has been set up by the Council and partners to help the most vulnerable people in our community who are experiencing difficulties as a result of Coronavirus (Covid-19).
We are looking for a Community Link Officer to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers in order to assess their welfare needs and prepare support plans. You will work with partners and other agencies as required to ensure that needs are met
You will have experience of working with individuals with complex needs and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
You will be able to manage your own workloads and work on your own initiative as well as working as part of a team.
The ability to work outside normal office hours when required and possession of a full driving licence and your own vehicle is essential.
Appointment to this post is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.
