IT Technician

Required as soon as possible, an IT Technician to join a very busy department.  This is a permanent contract.  

This post requires an enthusiastic and energetic individual prepared to support all aspects of IT within the Trust, and monitor and maintain IT equipment.  He/she will have excellent interpersonal skills and prepared to work as a member of a team.

The person appointed must be familiar with 1st and 2nd line IT Support preferably had previous experience of working in a secondary school environment.

The Trust consists of two Bracknell Forest Schools; Ranelagh School (Secondary) and Jennett’s Park School (Primary).

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos.  The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent.

Jennett’s Park CE Primary School is a fast growing aided Church of England School within the Diocese of Oxford and local authority of Bracknell Forest.  With over 400 children, we offer an exciting, value-driven curriculum within a supportive and challenging environment.  Jennett’s Park CE Primary School opened as a new Academy on 1st June 2017 under The Bonitas Multi-Academy Trust.

The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, confident and well-organised and share the school’s commitment to helping all students achieve their potential.  They will also need to have had some experience of working with young people, preferably in education.
