Transforming how IT Services are delivered
Rushmoor Borough Council has ambitions to drive change, innovate and improve the quality of people's lives. The Council is investing in digital technology to support this change and to respond to the challenges of working remotely and flexibly, whist delivering outstanding customer services to the community it serves.
To achieve these ambitions the Council is looking to strengthen their IT Team and appoint an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager reporting to the Head of Service.
We are looking for an outstanding individual who shares our passion for delivering high quality IT Service. You will be responsible for the leadership and management of the IT application and IT customer service functions for the Council.
This includes responsibility for overseeing first and second-line IT support, including the management of third-party IT suppliers, supporting IT project delivery, as well as the leadership and co-ordination of in-house teams supporting business as usual IT services.
You will need to demonstrate experience of working at a senior level in IT service delivery, managing and developing a service desk, and undertaking service management. Ideally you will also have:
• Worked in both the public and private sector within a technical IT environment.
• Be a commercially astute IT Leader with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Able to demonstrate experience of working in an ever-changing environment.
• Able to demonstrate knowledge of performance management techniques, business continuity and risk management.
