We are looking for an SEMH Teacher who has strong behaviour management and engagement skills to join a forward thinking SEMH School.
A creative mind, a listening ear and strong communication skills are essential to succeed in this role. The successful applicant will be resilient and tenacious.
As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the lives of young people. You will inspire, motivate and encourage a new generation of learners and guide them to make a positive impact in the world around them. You will be a teacher who helps their students to be passionate about learning and understands the impact and importance of lifelong education.
You will have successful experience of developing the curriculum for pupils with social, emotional and mental health and associated communication needs.
Teaching small classes of pupils within the school environment, as a general teacher you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons in all areas of the curriculum, mark and assess work; you will develop and adapt conventional teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and safe learning environment in the classroom to nurture pupils’ development. Our aim is to provide our pupils with the best possible opportunities to succeed with future goals and aspirations in all areas of their life including social, emotional and communication. We strive to ensure our pupils reach their full potential to allow them to actively participate in the wider community and to prepare them for adult life.
