Teachers’ Personal Assistant (TPA) Mornings
Wooden Hill Primary and Nursery School are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and committed member of staff to join their dynamic team The support staff at Wooden Hill School have specific roles, which enhance the learning by supporting a particular aspect of teaching and learning. Support staff are no longer expected to cram many things into their day’s work, with the frustration of feeling that it’s had little impact, but instead have clear and precise job descriptions and a sense of satisfaction of a job well done, knowing that they have made a difference.
This role is non class based and is to support teachers across the school in delivering high quality teaching by removing some of the routine and administrative tasks from teachers. This can include displays, marking tests, photocopying, laminating etc. The role also requires supporting learning in the classroom as and when needed, as directed by teachers. It is a diverse and unpredictable role with no two days the same. The successful candidate, if only appointed to this post, will also be required to work at lunchtime assisting in the smooth running of our lunch breaks.
Please note: During the current COVID restrictions our Support Staff are required to work flexibily, working in a class bubble supporting the Class Teacher. This will apply to this role until such time as our Risk Assessment allows working across the school.
