Job Details

Learning Space is a peripatetic multi-disciplinary team with an administrative base just outside of Dorking.  We are a charitable organisation which aims to improve the lives of children, young people and their families.  Since 1997 we have offered 1:1 and group support for a range of emotional needs including low self-esteem, anxiety, anger, relationships, bereavement, bullying and family issues.  Our methodology is solution focused and our approach is to encourage children and young people to recognise and build on their existing strengths.

For the past three years we have been a partner agency in Surrey Mindsight CAMHS working across the whole of the county.

The successful candidate will provide support to children and young people aged 8 to 18 years.  The role involves assessing the needs and strengths of children and young people; planning, delivering and evaluating interventions.  Where necessary the role will also involve working with the families of children and young people.
