Hillyfield Primary Academy is a large, vibrant happy school with a positive approach to learning and behaviour. The Academy is looking to appoint an additional highly motivated SEN Learning Support Assistant to work as part of the Academy’s Specialist Resource Provision or supporting a child within the school with additional needs. The successful candidate will have had experience of working with SEN children and have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills. The following skills and training will be beneficial,
Experience:
Supporting children with Autism, global developmental delay and sensory processing needs
Zones of regulation
TEEACH workstation system of learning
SCERTS
Bucket group/intensive interaction
Training:
Positive handling training
Intensive interaction training
