North East Lincolnshire Council are seeking a Surveyor to join its recently created Estates and Business Development team

What you need to know about the role
The role is based within a newly formed Estates and Business Development team, reporting directly to the Commercial Estates Manager. The team works in close partnership with our Regeneration partner, ENGIE and our Legal and Finance teams to secure effective outcomes.
The role will include:
- Providing professional estate management, consultancy, and valuation advice to the council
- Undertaking a variety of work including valuations, rent reviews, lease renewals, inspections, viewings, events licences etc
- Providing development advice, strategic asset management, landlord and tenant, disposals, and acquisitions.
- Supporting the team in achieving our contract performance targets.
- Providing excellent customer service.
What we need to know about you
Applications are sought from flexible and adaptable technical professionals who have a relevant degree in Estate Management and is ideally MRICS qualified but an APC candidate with a commitment to qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor will be considered. A team player who can demonstrate using a commercially focused mindset, having had some experience of working in a busy Estates and Valuations role.
You will be able to work in an exciting and changing environment. The role will proactively lead on caseloads of work and have a proven record of developing and maintaining open, trusting, and productive relationships.
