Start to Finish Worker (Domestic Abuse)
Do you have the skills and experience to support individuals with complex needs to access accommodation, develop life skills and break the cycle of offending?
We are seeking a worker to support individuals through a whole person approach. Working in partnership with other professionals, landlords, voluntary groups and charities you will assist in the delivery of the ‘Start to Finish’ Project which is a joint initiative led by the Council and the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner.
You should be well organised with a flexible approach and effective communication skills. You will be able to engage well with service users and partner agencies and able to understand the challenges faced in reducing reoffending.
This post is offered on a fixed term contract initially for 6 months with the possibility to extend. Secondments will be considered.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
