Grade 6 £31,557-£34,884- 1 Year Fixed Term Contract/Secondment /Opportunity
This is a one year secondment/fixed term opportunity with the possibility of an extension for additional two years.
There is also an opportunity for this to be a cross borough secondment, and we would encourage those already working within the North East London footprint, and/or with extensive knowledge around the North East London Partnership work, to apply.
Eight Northeast London Local Authorities are jointly commissioning residential care homes for looked after children within the geographical footprint of Northeast London. Havering council as the lead Local Authority are looking to recruit a Placements Officer, who will be responsible for managing the end to end referrals process into the North East London Provision.
You will need to have knowledge of the social care sector and of quality standards, and inspection programmes to monitor the compliance of providers with the referrals process. As well as having substantial experience in analysing and producing written reports and performance monitoring information, you will also need to demonstrate experience of developing positive relationships and management of providers of services
