Assistant Head teacher role
We have nearly completed our expansion to a three-form entry school, which means this is the perfect time to review our leadership structure. As a result, we are looking to appoint three Assistant Head teachers who instantly connect with and are committed to the school’s motto of ‘Achievement, Ambition and Progress for all.’
Each Assistant Head teacher role will have a whole school responsibility, as well as overseeing all aspects of teaching, learning, assessment and working in partnership with the AHT for Inclusion for pupils with SEND for a family of year groups, these being:
Nursery, Reception and the Nurture Provision
Year 1, 2 and 3
Year 4, 5 and 6
The roles will commence in September 2021 and the salary will be on the Leadership Scale; points L9 to L13. Details of the role can be found in the job description.
Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering high quality inclusive teaching across at least two key stages. Alongside this, you must be able to demonstrate having effectively led and managed others with a positive impact on children within the whole school or at least beyond their own year group.

Monday 1st February at 4pm or Thursday 11th February at 4pm
Interviews: Week Beginning 1st March
