At Broadford we believe that a child’s socio-economic background should not be a barrier to success. We passionately believe that children who attend Broadford Primary school deserve the best education we can provide: we have fantastic pupils who are eager to learn and excited to turn up to school everyday.
We achieve this because we expect all staff to make the education of their pupils their first concern, and be accountable for achieving the highest possible standards in work and conduct. We expect staff to act professionally; have strong subject knowledge, keep their knowledge and skills as educators up-to-date and be self-critical; forge positive professional relationships; have a good knowledge and background in working with pupils on the SEND register and work with parents in the best interests of our pupils.
This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational TA to take on a crucial role within our expanding vibrant school. The successful candidate should be an outstanding professional brimming with enthusiasm to make a real difference to the life chances of our pupils.
Part of this role would be to work as a 1:1 with a KS2 pupil who has a diagnosis of Attachment Disorder. They can exhibit challenging behaviour and you will need to be highly skilled at recognising triggers and de-escalating situations. Previous experience working with children with attachment disorders or with SEMH and challenging behaviours would be advantageous
If you think you are ready for this exciting next step please email Jane Wallis via the school email firstname.lastname@example.org for further information. Please put ‘Teaching Assistant’ in the subject line of the email.
Please apply online.
Closing date: Tuesday 2nd March
