Maths Teacher

A fantastic opportunity is awaiting you; the chance to design and shape innovative and creative pedagogical practice in a brand new all-through academy.   Applications welcomed from NQTs for September 2021

Having appointed exceptional candidates for the first three years of opening, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) is now looking to appoint a highly motivated, dynamic and innovative teacher of Maths to play an intrinsic role in our new all-through academy in Bracknell Forest.  At King’s Academy Binfield we have high expectations of our staff, but we value them highly.

Our all-through school opened in a superb new building in September 2018 with 120 year 7 students; they have since been joined by a further two cohorts of Year 7 students and nursery through to year 3 students in our two primary phases, King’s Academy Binfield (KAB) and King’s Academy Oakwood (KAO). The academy will grow year on year to a roll of over 1800 students, aged 3-18.

Whilst a main scale role, we are looking for ambitious colleagues to join us on our exciting journey, and the opportunity for a responsibility is available for a suitable candidate. There will be increasing opportunities for leadership roles within the academy as the school expands. Potential is as important as experience. The successful applicant will teach across the secondary phase, and as our primary phase continues to grow, will have the opportunity to help embed the continuation of education from the primary to secondary phase.

Applicants should be excellent teachers and have the ability to motivate, inspire and lead students to excel. The successful candidate will be a team player and will get stuck in and involve themselves in the wider aspects of academy life. A genuine commitment to our ‘whatever it takes’ ethos is essential to enable every young person at KAB and KAO to thrive.

King’s Education separately operates British schools abroad, educating over 4,000 students in countries such as Spain, Latvia and Panama, offering exciting opportunities for genuine international collaboration.

King’s Academy Binfield and King’s Academy Oakwood are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young students and expects all staff to share this commitment. The successful applicant will need to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
