Tarnerland Nursery School is for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, it is funded by the Local Education Authority in partnership with the Council’s Children’s & Family Services.

About the role

We are recruiting for a Business Manager to join our Senior Management Team to organise and supervise administrative systems as required. Contribute to the planning, development and monitoring of these and manage support staff, including co-ordination and delegation of relevant activities.

Applicants must have financial and administrative experience, preferably within education, a good understanding of relevant ICT packages, good numerical and literacy skills; and the ability to plan strategically.

The main role of the Business Manager is to manage our complex budget which is a combination of government funding and parent’s fees, plus overseeing admissions, ensuring the nursery is as full as possible all year.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
