“Shaping the borough, making a difference”
Place making is fundamental to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council. The Planning Policy Manager role is central to this, leading the production of the new Local Plan 2020-2038, a Town Centre Area Plan for Royal Tunbridge Wells and subsequently the first Local Plan following the expected changes to the national planning system.
We’d be delighted to hear from people who are passionate about place making who have the relevant planning and managerial experience, skills and knowledge and are looking to join a dynamic, collaborative, well staffed and supportive Planning Service, taking forward planning policy in an “open for business” Council within the attractive and varied townscapes and environments of the borough.
For more information about the role and person specification please see the documents below. For an informal discussion, please contact Steve Baughen (Head of Planning) by email (email@example.com), LinkedIn, or telephone (01892 554406).
