Peter Gladwin School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, resilient and reflective SEND TA to join the team.
Recent experience of supporting primary aged pupils with SEMH needs, the skills required to understand emotional barriers to learning and knowledge of strategies to overcome these barriers are essential.
Paid weeks per year: 47.15 inclusive of holiday entitlement
Fixed term: To be reviewed at end of summer term
Start date: As soon as possible
About the role
Ideally the candidate will be Attachment Aware/Trauma Informed, have some coaching experience and will have an understanding of safeguarding and mental health needs. They will be committed to understanding specific behaviours and forming positive relationships with pupils, whilst maintaining clear and consistent boundaries and expectations.
The role involves supporting individual children, as a Key Adult, across the primary age range.
