Missing & Exploitation Co-ordinator

We are looking for a Qualified Social Worker or Youth Worker to work in a dynamic and proactive way with young people and their carers to reduce their vulnerability due to missing episodes or exploitation, working directly with children where safeguarding risks have been identified because they are at risk of exploitation or whilst they are a missing person.

Do you have the skills, vision, enthusiasm and drive we are looking for to help take West Berkshire's targeted Missing & Exploitation work to the next level?

We value working in partnership with families and other agencies to produce tailored support plans to address identified family needs and to reduce risk.  You will get an opportunity to also work closely and creatively with the local communities and partner agencies to establish and maintain an effective service for children and their parents in line with the stated objectives of the service. 

This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
