Lunchtime Controller

St. Michael’s Easthampstead Primary School are looking to appoint a friendly & enthusiastic Lunchtime Controller to start as soon as possible.

The post holder will work as part of a team in securing the safety and welfare of students during the lunchtime. The role involves effective supervision of students in the dining hall, in the playground, on play equipment and on the school field or in classrooms on rainy days.

St. Michael’s is a friendly and nurturing, one form entry school with fantastic children, supportive parents and a dedicated team of staff & governors where we focus on developing the whole child, not just assessing them.  Our enthusiastic children are engaging with outstanding behaviour and will make you smile just by being around them!

We have been recently inspected by OFSTED who judged us to be a good school. Our children, staff and OFSTED report are the best advert for reasons to choose our school!

‘Pupils enthuse about the school and the interesting learning opportunities that teachers provide.’ OFSTED OCTOBER 2017

‘Pupils……. work hard, enjoy learning and take pride in their achievements. Staff are swift to recognise when pupils have done well and reward them. This fuels pupils’ enthusiasm and drives them on towards further success.’ OFSTED OCTOBER 2017

‘Pupils behave well, treating each other and staff with kindness and respect. As a result, the school feels like a happy, harmonious family.’ OFSTED OCTOBER 2017

Our staff are happy and enjoy their work:-

‘Staff morale is high and all who responded to the staff survey said that they are proud to work at St Michael’s and enjoy working there. ‘ OFSTED OCTOBER 2017

The successful applicant will join our team of talented, committed and diligent support staff, so if you would like to be part of the future success of our school and are a dedicated and hardworking individual we would love to hear from you.

This is a temporary post, working 11.50am to 1.25pm Monday to Friday, term time only until July 2021.
