More Information

Intelligence Officer

The Performance and Intelligence team in Birmingham Children’s Trust is working on innovative and exciting ways to deliver performance to frontline staff. We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced data analyst with excellent technical skills to join our long-established team. The work is very varied, challenging and fast paced. You will be working with a wide range of stakeholders, including senior managers, frontline social workers and support staff.

You will have significant experience and expertise in the deployment and use of a wide range of business intelligence tools such as Office 365, Power BI, Postgre SQL, Crystal, Business Objects, and data and system management. You will be able to use excellent communication skills to deliver sometimes highly technical and complex analyses and performance data in a way that maximises understanding for the audience.  This will involve extracting and analysing complex data from our case management system, designing pages in Power BI to deliver the information to our users, helping to deliver our statutory returns and responding to numerous ad hoc requests for data by interrogating the data warehouse.

We are in the process rapidly developing Power BI to deliver performance and analysis across the Trust so if you are keen to get involved and help us by using your excellent technical and analytical skills to innovate and improve, we are very keen to hear from you.
