We currently have a fixed term vacancy for a Technical Specialist to lead on a major transformation initiative. 

The Technical Specialist will support the delivery of the Futures Programme, a cross-council programme of work which will deliver savings and improve the way we work. The Futures Programme is aligned to our Medium Term Financial Plan and sees us taking a one-council approach to problem solving.

You’ll be working within our IT team to deliver these ambitious programmes of work, adding your technical expertise to implement and integrate innovative solutions that enable the council to change the way it works and deliver better outcomes for residents.

This role is being offered on a fixed term basis. If you feel you have the skills and tenacity to drive through these exciting changes successfully and if you have experience of large-scale technology implementation projects where you’ve delivered high quality results on time and to budget, we’d love to hear from you.
