West Berkshire Council’s Property Team provides a handyperson service to a number of properties ranging from libraries and sports facilities to offices.
Our current requirement is for a handyperson to carry out minor repairs and small jobs within these properties, this could include everything from replacing light bulbs, erecting shelving to changing taps.
We are looking for a committed individual with good all round practical skills in basic carpentry, plumbing and decorating. An awareness of asbestos and legionella is preferred but not essential.
You will be a strong communicator and be comfortable interacting with all levels and job profiles within the Authority. It is essential that you are enthusiastic and reliable with a friendly personality.
A full driving licence is required to visit all locations. A vehicle and tools will be provided for your use when working.
