Business Team Administrator

The starting salary for this role is £24,780 and is based on a 36 working hour week.

Surrey County Council provides the administrative support to the Senior Coroner in the operation of the Coroner’s Court and importantly supporting bereaved families.

We are recruiting for multiple Business Team Administrators to work as part of a team focused on monitoring and manging key aspects of the service, such as performance standards and budget management.

This role you will need to be flexible to the demands of the service and be involved with the effective management of finance, Health & Safety, quality of service delivery including contract management and data & information handling, for example. You will help ensure the service is working effectively and efficiently for the benefit of bereaved families.

To be shortlisted to interview for this position your application will clearly evidence:

  • Significant administration experience, particularly financial administration
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on customer experience
  • Experience of databases maintenance
  • Confident in working with partners and other key stakeholders, both technical specialist and non-specialists, internally and externally
  • Experience of producing reports and supporting projects
