Home Improvement Agency Manager
36.25 hours per week - Grade 11 - £34,728 to £37,890
Burnley Council is launching a Home Improvement Agency and is seeking people to be part of this exciting opportunity.
The agency will deliver a wide range of services including grants, a handy person service, energy efficiency measures and much more, all of which aim to improve housing conditions for our most vulnerable residents; ensuring their health, safety and welfare are protected.
Your main role is to launch, lead and develop Burnley’s Home Improvement Agency including the delivery of comprehensive programmes and services. It is essential you are educated to degree level, preferably in a housing or health related field. You must have experience of leading the delivery of a health or housing service that improves the health, safety and welfare of residents. You must also have experience of developing business plans and of managing employees. It is essential you have the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and are able to explore new ideas and develop new initiatives.
