Communications and Marketing Assistant
£21,950 - £23,758 inclusive of outer fringe allowance
37 hours per week
We are looking for a talented person to fill a new position in our communications and marketing team at an exciting time. In addition to providing administrative support to a new-look team, you would be involved in managing and enhancing the council’s reputation, actively promoting its services, support, events, opportunities and facilities through a wide range of communication channels. The role includes:
- Monitoring social media, responding to comments and queries or escalating as appropriate, and identifying risks and/or opportunities.
- Planning, delivering and evaluating targeted email campaigns, including drafting copy, preparing layout and scheduling publication.
- Creating and uploading copy and content for a variety of digital channels, including websites managed by the council and corresponding social media channels.
